Directions

Start by downloading and printing the leprechaun template, then cut out all the pieces together. This is a great chance to practice those scissor skills!

Take the face piece and glue it onto the orange beard. This will give your leprechaun his signature look!

Glue the small nose right in the center of the face, just above the mouth. Look at that cute button nose!

Next, glue the two eye pieces above the nose. Now your leprechaun is starting to take shape!

Every leprechaun needs a great hat! Grab the green hat piece and glue it at the top of the head, slightly overlapping the eyes.

Now, glue the black paper strip across the green hat to create the hat band.

Take the outer buckle piece and glue it in the center of the hat band.

To complete the hat, glue the inner buckle in the middle of the outer buckle. Now it looks just like a classic leprechaun hat!

Let’s get our leprechaun dressed! Take the leprechaun’s head and glue it right on top of the green body piece. It should sit slightly above, making it look like the head is attached to the body.

Now, grab the belt and glue it across the body.

Glue the belt’s outer buckle right in the center of the belt.

Then, take the belt’s inner buckle and glue it in the middle of the outer buckle to complete the belt detail.

Time to add the shoes! Glue them at the very bottom and back of the body so they peek out like little leprechaun boots.

Now, let’s add the lucky touch! Take the green shamrock piece and glue it in the center of the leprechaun’s body.

Finally, glue the two hand pieces onto the sides of the shamrock, so it looks like he’s holding it.

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.

  • Begin by gluing the face on the beard.

  • Next, glue the nose onto the center of the leprechaun’s face.

  • Glue the eyes just above the leprechaun’s nose.

  • Take the hat piece and glue it on top of the leprechaun’s head.

  • Glue the hat band in the middle of the hat.

  • Place the hat's outer buckle onto the center of the hat band and glue it down.

  • Next, glue the hat's inner buckle to the outer buckle.

  • Take the body piece and glue it to the back and bottom of the leprechaun's head.

  • Place the belt piece in the middle of the leprechaun's body.
