#IPAW2024: Debunking Common Misconceptions About Added Value ServicesAs we celebrate Income Protection Awareness Week, I wanted to highlight a topic that often flies under the radar: added value services. These services can be misunderstood, causing clients to miss out on the real benefits they provide.Having recently gone through my own journey, I’ve experienced first-hand just how valuable these services can be. In the past few weeks, I've been working towards some personal health goals, improving my gut health and training for the London Marathon next year. With minimal running experience, I need all the guidance I can get!During my initial appointment, we discussed my objectives and dietary needs. From there, follow-up video calls were scheduled with specialists in gut health and sports training. The insight I gained was incredible, and I received a personalised marathon training plan, complete with follow-up documents and scheduled monthly check-ins to track my progress.Initially, I was overwhelmed by the idea of marathon training especially with all the conflicting advice online. But with personalised guidance, I now feel confident and prepared, with a clear roadmap ahead. Here are three common misconceptions I’ve come across about added value services, and how my experience proved them wrong:Misconception 1: Hidden Costs Many believe these services come with hidden fees. In my case, all consultations with lifestyle and nutrition specialists, via The Exeter’s Healthwise service, were included—at no extra cost!Misconception 2: Limited AvailabilitySome think these services are hard to access. My experience was the opposite—I had flexible appointment options and booked sessions that fit easily around my schedule.Misconception 3: ComplexityThere’s a belief that using these services is complicated. However, the process was seamless. I received appointment reminders via text, and the video calls were as simple as Facetiming a friend.Added value services truly deliver when it comes to support, and I hope my story encourages others to explore and take advantage of these incredible benefits.Emma NorrishEllie CollisChrista ArlissEmily ShuttleworthJamie PageDaniel TurnerMike NorrishJudith BrandrickNicola TaylorRachel TrundleRich Welsh#IncomeProtection #AddedValue #HealthAndWellness #TheExeter #LondonMarathon

When I moved from clinic space to online over 4 years ago I was really hesitant. But, I was beautifully surprised that it actually added benefits! Some of those benefits include:1. Clients feeling more supported and safe because they are in their own environment. 2. Clients opening up and going to deeper spaces within themselves quicker, because they know it's just us and nobody else in clinic can hear.3. Location no longer mattered anymore and I was able to support anyone anywhere, as long as they have internet. 4. Being able to share graphs, information, slides and learning tools in real time.5. Clients finding it easier to fit into their schedule as they don't have to travel into clinic. So, if you have been hesitant to try online coaching I recommend giving it a try. I happily ate my own words as to what I thought it would be like, I don't doubt you will too.If you're ready for stepping into your new chapter of life, leaving behind all that holds you back, then I want to hear from you. Or head to https://lnkd.in/g5NVRQe for more information. #traumarecovery #mentalhealth #holistichealthcare #health #emotionalhealth #physicalhealth #wellness #online P.s. please note equine assisted coaching and workshops are still all face to face sessions only.

C’est la rentrée. 💼 My very skilled and talented friend Kandice Cordner-Wuillème has just announced and promoted the personal new health habit she is undertaking in her working environment.Kandice, I totally support and encourage you. And I thank you for having inspired me to write this: as, in my practice, understanding how to maintain a new health habit is a recurring question. The secret (one of them) to keep up with new health habits is to measure the satisfaction we get by making that change vs the immediate satisfaction we get by not pushing ourselves to step into that new habit. Having a schedule for a week : 💪 Measure the relationship between the change and the satisfaction you get from it; 💪💪 Make the necessary modifications in order to be able to go on with the change. For instance : • one Pilates class a week instead of the five initially hoped for• realizing one class is not enough for making a difference, then stepping into two classes a week instead (realising quitting because one is not enough and we don’t have time for more would not be an acceptable option for the strong willed women we are😌)• always making up within 24 hours (come on, that is definitely possible!) for what we have skipped. It doesn’t need to be that class, it can be NOT having this latte full of sugar today or taking the stairs• having a deadline of a 3 months challenge to be able to see the impact on both our mental and physical health in order not to stop when the motivation will fade (it will most probably)• be satisfied with the 3 months update, and doing it all over again 🙂Good luck! Et bonne rentrée à tous !I stepped into water rowing. What do you all want to step into ? #healthhabit #rentrée #santé #motivation #satisfaction #program #challenge #change #maisondelasante #mentalhealth #healthatwork #womenhealth #waterrower

Two things I HATE to waste that I bet you do too…TIME and MONEYWe all like to think we don’t waste either, but ask yourself an honest question…When you’re plagued with a problem… Are you one of those people who just wants to find the quick fix for today’s problems and leave tomorrow to chance (“This works for now- I’ll just deal with the root of it later”), or the one who wants a transformative solution for your tomorrows to remedy and hopefully eliminate the problem?Your health is a reasonable investment that can quickly become a massive expense if you don’t invest in it wisely…🔴 EXPENSE: Underutilized gym memberships, unused home equipment, classes that yield no actual results, training that doesn’t really teach you anything to take with you from there🟢 INVESTMENT: Quality fitness training and nutrition/lifestyle coaching that yields long term results, enables autonomy, and therefore builds confidence for the long haul🔴 EXPENSE: Convenience foods that have subpar to minimal nutritional value🟢 INVESTMENT: Quality foods that build our bodies from the inside out and fuel our physical and mental energy output🔴 EXPENSE: Repetitive visits to the chiropractor/PT/orthopedist for the same preventable ailment🟢 INVESTMENT: Learning to become proactive, getting professional assessment and feedback, and moving better to avoid the same predictable ailment🔴 EXPENSE: Multiple prescriptions for preventable illnesses caused by poor habits🟢 INVESTMENT: Learning how to replace these habits, properly fuel, and move adequately to prevent and treat these illnessesUnfortunately, I see too many people spending (wasting) more overall time and money in the long run, because they weren’t willing to invest time and money in the short run. And even if your money can come back, your time cannot. If you’re ready to invest in yourself and your quality of life, I'm ready for the ones like YOU!💎💎💎www.facetedfitness.com#investinyourhealth #investinyou #investinyourself #healthylouisiana #healthyyoungsville #facetedfitness #youngsville #youngsvillela #youngsvillelouisiana #wherelifeissweeter

I joined the 1% club 💀 A combination of factors led me to “achieving” membership to the 1% recovery club this weekend on WHOOP For those who don’t know, it is the utterly wrong end of the scale that you are aiming to achieve! But with all life’s experiences, there are lessons to be learnt. Here are my top 5:🟢 Consistency - the fundamentals of health are the basics for a reason and they really can’t be ignored. Realise when they are slipping and get back on track.🟢 Connections - I value feeling connected to people and when this deteriorates, for what ever reasons, it throws me off balance. Seek out those who value and energise you.🟢 Comparison - the saying about it being the thief of joy, we all need reminding off at times. We are unique, on our own journeys and external validation is not a solid foundation.🟢 Challenges - being challenged in life is inevitable and where growth happens. We should lean into these opportunities, appreciating though that they also need time to process and reflect on.🟢 Control - there are many variables in life and we should focus on the factors and boundaries we can control. If the answer is always yes, then there’s not much choice. Say no, without apology and own it. The reminder that health is wealth and requires constant investment.Have you joined the 1% recovery club? How did it happen and what did you learn? #health #recovery #performance

Arbonne just made it easier than ever to promote to our first of four levels of management, District Manager. 🎉How this level could benefit your life monthly?✅Grocery money✅Car payment✅Weekly date nights✅Weekend getaway✅Pay off debtUsually it's 6,000 in team volume to hit this level, this month it's 3,500. What does that mean in your terms? That's you + 8 people doing our game-changing 30 days to healthy living program.ORYou + 11 people using our Daily Essentials nutrition Bundle.I won't use the word "easy", but it is quite simple. Especially since you get plugged into mentorship, coaching and systems for success.Have you been wanting to monetize the booming health and wellness trend?Comment or message me "Interested" and we can see if it's a fit for you. That doesn't mean you have to partner with Arbonne, I just know knowledge is power and it always makes sense for good people to meet!#businessopportunity #businessroom #connectionsclub #yourbusinessmatters #wellnessindustry #veganskincare #vegannutrition
